Position Overview
We are seeking a highly creative and versatile Creative Designer to join our team. In this role, you will conceptualize and execute innovative design solutions across multiple mediums, including digital, print, web, social media, and multimedia. You will take ownership of projects, develop strong creative concepts and pitches, contribute to branding, motion graphics, and campaign design.
Responsibilities:
Design Conceptualization & Execution
- Generate original and compelling design concepts aligned with client briefs and project objectives.
- Develop strong creative concepts and pitches for campaigns, presenting ideas clearly to clients and stakeholders.
- Create high-quality designs for print, digital, web, social media, and multimedia campaigns.
- Produce motion graphics and animations to enhance storytelling and audience engagement.
- Apply design best practices across all platforms, including web and social media.
- Collaborate with copywriters, marketers, and developers to ensure cohesive and effective design solutions.
Visual Branding & Identity
- Lead the creation and maintenance of strong visual brand identities for clients.
- Develop brand guidelines and style guides to ensure consistent application across all channels.
- Provide strategic input on visual storytelling, brand positioning, and social media design.
Collaboration & Client Interaction
- Work independently while collaborating with clients, account managers, and stakeholders to understand project goals.
- Present design concepts and creative pitches confidently, incorporating feedback to ensure client satisfaction.
- Serve as a trusted advisor on branding, social media content, and visual design.
Project Management & Quality Assurance
- Take ownership of projects from concept to delivery, managing timelines, priorities, and resources effectively.
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality design work within budget constraints.
- Conduct thorough quality checks to maintain creative standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Proven experience of at least 1 year as a junior designer with a strong portfolio showcasing exceptional design work across various mediums.
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD, After Effects), Figma, and other relevant design tools.
- Proven experience in branding, motion graphics, social media content, and web design best practices.
- Strong command of English, with the ability to write captions and content that engages audiences.
- Independent, self-driven, and capable of managing projects end-to-end with minimal supervision.
- Solid understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, layout, and user-centered design.
- Excellent creative thinking, problem-solving, and conceptualization skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects under deadlines.
- Up-to-date knowledge of design trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices.
Work Arrangement:
Mostly remote, with quarterly on-site collaboration (2 days per visit) at The Vertical, Bangsar South — Komune Co-Working Space.
