Full job description
The Junior Executive, Legal is responsible for supporting the Company's legal operations through precise document drafting, regulatory monitoring, internal advisory, and administrative assistance. This role works closely with internal stakeholders to ensure that the Company remains compliant with applicable laws, maintains robust internal documentation, and manages legal risks effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Contract Management
- Assist in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating various legal documents, including agreements, deed, and internal corporate documents
- Maintain accurate and organized contract documentation and records.
- Support the preparation of legal correspondences and other documents.
- Litigation Management
- Support the Team Lead on litigation matters and appear before the Consumer Tribunal when required.
- Handle the Company's litigation matters, including document preparation and case coordination.
- Negotiate with litigants or customers to achieve amicable dispute resolutions.
- Legal Advisory
- Provide accurate and timely legal advice to internal stakeholders.
- Monitor and provide updates on new laws and regulations relevant to the Company's operations.
- Develop and conduct legal training sessions for internal stakeholders.
- Board Secretariat
- Assist the Team Lead in preparing corporate secretarial documents.
- Liaise with the external Company Secretary office
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Law (LL.B) or equivalent.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Admission as an Advocate & Solicitor is an added advantage.
- Strong command of spoken and written English. Ability to speak Korean is a plus.
- A strong team player with good interpersonal skills.
- Independent, responsible, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrates creative and critical thinking; ability to think beyond conventional methods is an added advantage.
- Has at least one personal hobby (to support worklife balance).
