Role Introduction

This position holder supports the development and execution of regional marketing initiatives to drive awareness, consideration, and usage of the Cathay membership programme and the Cathay lifestyle brand generating revenue and achieving commercial targets for both the Travel and Lifestyle lines of business

Key Responsibilities

Lifestyle Marketing

  • Support the Lifestyle & Marketing membership Marketing Manager in planning and executing regional lifestyle marketing initiatives to drive awareness, consideration and usage of Cathay's lifestyle offerings
  • Coordinate the regional lifestyle marketing calendar, including campaign planning, content development and asset management (e.g., EDMs website content, marketing materials)
  • Develop and implement regional and local lifestyle campaigns and adapt global initiatives to reflect regional market opportunities and partnership priorities.
  • Collaborate with lifestyle partners and local teams to deliver integrated marketing activities aligned with business objectives
  • Support the development of lifestyle content and storytelling across owned and paid channels
  • Ensure marketing activities are culturally relevant and aligned with brand guidelines
  • Support budget tracking for lifestyle marketing initiatives

Membership Marketing

  • Support regional membership marketing initiatives aimed at strengthening member activation and engagement, and programme awareness
  • Recruit new members to increase known customer base
  • Assist in planning and executing of member communications
  • Support local teams in high-value member events
  • Support analysis of membership performance and provide recommendations to enhance activation and engagement

Partnerships

  • Develop, plan and execute end-to-end marketing campaigns with lifestyle partners

Agency Management

  • Partner with local agencies to deliver campaign concepts through to execution including performance analysis and identifying areas for improvement
  • Ensure that all material and content published within the region meets Brand Guidelines and are compliant with local regulations

Insights Gathering

  • Conduct regional market intelligence on competitor activities and consumer trend monitoring and translate them into actionable items.
  • Monitor campaign performance and provide insights to optimise effectiveness and improve engagement outcomes
  • Create audience segments using known or anonymized member data
  • Perform data operations, such as, but not limited to bonus miles crediting calculations, to support member engagement initiatives

E&A

  • Emergency and Accident and Crisis Response responsibilities as required

General

  • Any other reasonable task as requested

Requirements

Academic Qualifications

  • Tertiary education in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related discipline

Knowledge, Skills, Training And Experience

  • Minimum 1-2 years of practical experience in a marketing role
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Experience in agency management and partner management
  • Good marketing sense, good grasp and understanding of marketing insights
  • Good team player and strong interpersonal skills, creative, dynamic and innovative
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining quality and timelines
  • Independent, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Adaptable and resilient, with the ability to navigate change and evolving business priorities
