Manager, Integral Life Delivery Management

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Manager, Integral Life Delivery Management to lead the development, enhancement, deployment, and support of Life Insurance applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Integral Life / Life Asia COBOL systems, application development, production support, and system delivery within the life insurance domain.

The role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, managing end-to-end application delivery, ensuring compliance with SDLC standards, and supporting business-critical initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather business requirements and perform impact analysis.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy enhancements for Integral Life applications.
• Support UAT activities, including end-of-day batch processing support.
• Ensure application delivery meets agreed scope, timelines, and quality standards.
• Adhere to SDLC, development, security, and compliance standards.
• Investigate and resolve production incidents and application issues within SLA.
• Analyze technical impacts on interfacing systems and provide solution recommendations.
• Provide project and system status updates to management.
• Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions, mentoring, coaching, and team initiatives.
• Support system upgrades, maintenance activities, and continuous improvement efforts.

Required Skills & Experience

Mandatory Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in application development within the Life Insurance domain.
• Hands-on experience with Integral Life / Life Asia COBOL systems.
• Strong knowledge of:
• COBOL Development
• AS400 / IBM i
• SMART/400
• Control Language (CL)
• SQL Development
• Experience in requirement analysis, solution design, coding, testing, and production support.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and impact assessment skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in Agile or SDLC-driven environments.
• Experience supporting large-scale insurance applications.
• Leadership, mentoring, and coaching experience.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
