ABOUT HANDA GROUP

Handa Group is a homegrown Malaysian F&B group behind two beloved dining concepts. Lomak Salai brings bold, smoke-kissed grilled meats and authentic kampung flavours to the table — a celebration of Malaysian grill culture. Pagi Malam is a vibrant all-day diner serving comforting Malaysian breakfast and late-night supper favourites, built for those who eat with their hearts. Both brands are rooted in community, culture, and craveable food — and this role is their megaphone.

ROLE PURPOSE

The Marketeer is the creative and commercial driver behind both Lomak Salai and Pagi Malam's brand presence. This is a hands-on, full-scope marketing role — from crafting content and managing campaigns to running food delivery platforms and building brand partnerships. You will own the day-to-day brand voice, plan and execute activations that fill seats and grow orders, and build a loyal community of customers who keep coming back. This role is equal parts storyteller, strategist, and executor.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Social Media & Content

▸ Own and manage all social channels for Lomak Salai and Pagi Malam — Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.

▸ Plan a monthly content calendar that balances food storytelling, promotions, behind-the-scenes, and community content.

▸ Write captions, shoot or brief photography, and produce short-form videos (Reels, TikTok) that stop the scroll.

▸ Stay on top of food and lifestyle trends to keep both brands culturally relevant and algorithmically competitive.

▸ Track content performance — reach, engagement, saves, shares — and adjust strategy based on what resonates.

Campaign Planning & Execution

▸ Plan and execute marketing campaigns for menu launches, Ramadan/Raya/CNY activations, and outlet events.

▸ Develop campaign briefs, creative direction, and timelines; manage deliverables end-to-end without needing hand-holding.

▸ Coordinate with the kitchen and operations team to ensure campaign messaging aligns with real menu availability.

▸ Run paid social ads (Meta, TikTok) to amplify key campaigns and drive footfall and delivery orders.

▸ Prepare post-campaign reports summarising performance, learnings, and recommendations for the next cycle.

Brand Partnerships & Collaborations

▸ Scout and secure collaboration opportunities — food bloggers, lifestyle KOLs, local media, and complementary brands.

▸ Manage influencer and KOL partnerships end-to-end: brief, coordinate visits, review content, track results.

▸ Develop co-marketing ideas that grow both brands audiences — collabs, events, media features, and cross-promotions.

▸ Negotiate and manage partnership terms, gifting, and media visits professionally and efficiently.

Food Delivery Platform Management

▸ Own Lomak Salai and Pagi Malam's listings on GrabFood, foodpanda, and other active delivery platforms.

▸ Manage menu photos, item descriptions, pricing accuracy, and promotional mechanics (vouchers, bundles, flash deals).

▸ Work with platform account managers to access campaign slots, sponsored placements, and performance boosts.

▸ Analyse platform data — sales, ratings, reviews, cart abandonment — and action improvements regularly.

▸ Liaise with operations to ensure delivery packaging, order accuracy, and fulfilment quality protects brand ratings.

Community & Customer Engagement

▸ Build a warm, active community across all channels — respond to comments, DMs, and tagged posts in brand voice.

▸ Monitor and respond to Google, GrabFood, and social reviews; flag service recovery cases to operations promptly.

▸ Develop customer loyalty touchpoints — repeat visit rewards, community campaigns, and UGC activations.

▸ Mine community interactions for customer insights and feed them back into product and marketing decisions.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Education

  • Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Multimedia, or related field.

Experience

  • Minimum 2–4 years in a marketing, social media, or brand role — F&B, retail, or lifestyle brand experience strongly preferred.

Portfolio

  • Must provide a link or PDF portfolio showing past social content, campaigns, or brand work at application stage.

Language

  • Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Mandarin is an added advantage.

Tools

  • Canva, Meta Business Suite, TikTok Creator tools, GrabFood/Foodpanda Merchant Centre, and basic analytics tools.
