Job Description

Due to rapid growth and subsequent expansion, we are now looking for a high calibre Payroll Specialist to join our Japan Payroll Team (based in Malaysia) and help drive Links International to become the HR Outsourcing Partner of choice in Asia Pacific.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide our award-winning payroll service to clients and maintain client relationship on regular basis
  • Perform end-to-end payroll processing and provide related HR services to clients
  • Responsible for clients payroll calculation (e.g., salaries, pension, leave, commission, and other compensation calculations)
  • Liaise with Japanese Government Authorities and Japanese service providers in relation to pension, social insurance, tax and other statutory matters
  • Prepare HR reports for clients such as movement, headcount, pay summary, cost centre allocation and payroll breakdown reports
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate payroll data and staff information in the Payroll System
  • Participate clients meeting and provide professional advices on HR issues relate to labour laws and employment act
  • Provide operational and administrative support to regional payroll teams

Requirements:

  • Fluent in spoken English. Able to read Japanese language
  • Solid experience in Japanese 給与計算 and 厚生年金 is a MUST
  • Experience working in payroll outsourcing companies or payroll vendors will be advantageous
  • Able to manage high volume payroll processing in a fast paced environment
  • Must be good in Microsoft Excel, payroll system and sensitive to numbers
