Job Description
Job Description:
- Manage and oversee manufacturing processes to ensure products work well and are made costeffectively.
- Develop and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and support sustainability.
- Monitor production performance and adjust manpower, shift schedules, and overtime to meet targets efficiently.
- Prepare operational budgets and ensure all production costs stay within the planned budget.
- Plan and track production costs to ensure products are made profitably and efficiently.
- Stay updated on new manufacturing technologies.
- Analyze production data and implement improvements to boost efficiency and reduce costs.
- Work closely with planning, engineering, and assembly teams to meet deadlines and support production requirements.
- Lead and supervise the production team, ensuring department efficiency and achievement of KPIs.
- Hold team meetings, ensure clear communication with colleagues and management, and maintain strong interpersonal relationships.
- 3–5 years experience in Planning, Procurement, Finance, or Process Engineering preferred. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Background in Finance, Business Administration, Math/Statistics, or Engineering is suitable.
- Knowledge or experience in Procurement, Costing, Manpower planning, or Manufacturing/Operations is beneficial.
- Project Management experience or PMP certification is an added advantage.
- Must be able to communicate clearly across departments, convey key messages effectively, and be assertive when needed.
- Must be hands-on and willing to put in extra effort during business planning and reporting cycles.
- Candidates with strong passion, commitment, and accountability will excel in this role.
