Project Manager (Oil & Gas Pipeline)

We are hiring on behalf of the clients:

Extraction of crude petroleum and natural gas

Responsibilities

1. Manage full project lifecycle for oil & gas pipeline works (engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning)
2. Develop and execute project plans, schedules, and execution strategies
3. Oversee site construction activities and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications
4. Manage contractors, subcontractors, and vendors on-site
5. Control project budget, cost tracking, and progress reporting
6. Ensure strict adherence to HSE standards, PTW (Permit to Work), and regulatory requirements
7. Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal engineering teams
8. Lead risk assessments, mitigation plans, and technical -problem-solving
9. Ensure timely delivery of project milestones and commissioning targets
10. Prepare and present project progress reports to senior management

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Civil / Chemical Engineering (or equivalent)
2. Minimum 10-15 years experience in oil & gas industry
3. At least 8–12 years in project management role specifically in pipeline or EPCC projects
4. Proven experience in onshore pipeline construction and commissioning (mandatory)
5. Strong knowledge of HSE requirements in oil & gas environments (PTW, JSA, HIRA, etc.)
6. Experience managing large-scale contractors and multi-discipline teams
7. Strong understanding of project scheduling tools (Primavera P6 or equivalent)
8. Familiar with FIDIC or oil & gas contract frameworks
9. PMP / equivalent project management certification is highly preferred (mandatory advantage)
10. Proven track record of delivering high-value industrial projects
11. Must be willing to work full-time site based in Kerteh, Terengganu
12. Must reside within 40km radius of site OR be willing to relocate immediately (strict requirement)
13. Must possess own reliable transport and valid driving license
14. Must be available for extended working hours, shutdown periods, and emergency site call-outs
15. Must be capable of working in high-pressure, safety-critical operational environments
16. Must pass medical examination, drug & alcohol screening, and background verification
17. Strong discipline, leadership authority, and decision-making ability are essential
