Job Vacancy: Site Quantity Surveyor (QS)

Job Responsibilities

Prepare, compile, and submit Main Claims to JPS (Jabatan Pengairan dan Saliran) according to contract requirements.

Liaise closely with JPS officers, consultants, and internal project teams to ensure accuracy and timely submission of claims.

Verify site progress and measure actual work done together with site team for monthly valuations.

Review, evaluate, and certify subcontractor claims, VO proposals, and final accounts.

Maintain full documentation, measurement records, and cost tracking for the project.

Assist in contract administration, procurement, and issuing site instructions when required.

Monitor project budget, costing, material usage, and cost-to-complete forecast.

Ensure compliance with contract conditions, specifications, and JPS procedures.

Requirements

Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.

Minimum 13 years experience in construction; experience with JPS projects is an added advantage.

Strong understanding of contract (PWD/JPS standards), measurement, and progress claim preparation.

Able to work independently at site with good communication & coordination skills.

Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD (basic), and QS documentation.
