Role Description

The Sales Engineer will engage with customers to provide technical consultation and promote welding solutions and products. This is a full-time on-site role located in Shah Alam, Selangor. Responsibilities include supporting sales initiatives, preparing proposals, delivering hardware and software presentations, and assisting customers with product-related technical support. The role requires traveling to client locations, building relationships with new and existing customers, and identifying opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and productivity.

Qualifications

  • At least 2-years working experience industrial / technical sales
  • Market experience in Oil & Gas market
  • Product experience in Welding and Safety equipment
  • Experience and knowledge in Sales Engineering and the ability to provide technical consultation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effectively collaborating with customers and team members.
  • Proven skills in Sales and Customer Service to build and maintain customer relationships and achieve targets.
  • A technical background relevant to the welding industry and familiarity with welding equipment and processes.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying customer needs and delivering solutions.
  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field, is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and travel as required for client meetings.

  • Rewarding personal sales commission plus over-riding commission
