Job Responsibilities

  • Proactively scout, identify, and approach potential shippers and SMEs within the retail area.
  • Conduct direct selling through walk-ins, cold outreach, field canvassing, and business visits.
  • Build a strong sales pipeline through aggressive prospecting and continuous follow-ups.
  • Pitch Ninja Van services confidently and tailor solutions to customer needs.
  • Work closely with Area Manager to push regional sales initiatives and maximize conversion.
  • Achieve individual sales targets for revenue, parcel volume, and shipper acquisition.
  • Maintain daily tracking of leads, visits, and sales performance.
  • Execute sales campaigns, promotions, and product pushes as assigned.
  • Upsell and cross-sell to maximize revenue from new and existing customers.
  • Take ownership of results continuously seek ways to grow accounts and expand share.
  • Provide onboarding guidance to new shippers (dashboard, product selection, billing basics).
  • Ensure customers understand core NV services and value propositions clearly.
  • Maintain positive relationships to encourage repeat shipments and increased usage.
  • Gather customer insights and escalate sales-related feedback.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all sales activities.
  • Ensure data accuracy in lead logs, pipeline updates, and customer information.
  • Submit daily/weekly updates to Area Manager.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Diploma in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field.
  • Minimum 13 years of direct sales, field sales or business development experience (logistics, FMCG, retail sales preferred).
  • Fluent in English & Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is an added advantage).
  • Proven track record in hunting, cold acquisition, and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong hunter mindset, hungry for sales, driven, and persistent.
  • Not afraid to approach new customers and initiate conversations.
  • High confidence in pitching, negotiation, and closing deals.
  • Resilient, self-motivated, and able to handle rejection positively.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
