Senior Associate, Software Engineer

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Prepare and execute test scripts in accordance to prescribed test cases and strategy.
• Identify, track and report any anomalies found in testing in timely and accurate manner.
• Perform first level analyst of defects found to determine investigation approach, prioritization and reproducibility.
• Highlights any blocking issues immediately to Test Lead and management and work toward the resolution of the blockers prior to the commercial release to ensure quality and consistency in product experience
• Recommends and improve feedback to improve test execution approach, processes and tools for operationally efficiency.
• Perform exploratory test using subject matter expertise and experience, to discover new issues not found using standard test cases
• Support in field trial feedback, getting details from users to qualify and reproduce the issues reported.
• Support the product delivery team in daily business as usual duty and live system end to end integration.

REQUIREMENTS:

WHO YOU ARE:

• Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or Software Engineering / Broadcast Engineering with a minimum of 2-3 years experience.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia language both Spoken and written.
• Holder of ISTQB certificate or any relevant test certification would be an advantage
• Excellent technical report writing skills.
• Able to use operating systems such as UNIX
• Knowledge in one of the scripting languages (Python, VB Script, C-language, etc)
• Knowledge of AWS and AI
