About The Role
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day yard operations, vehicle flow, and space utilization.
- Manage receiving activities for incoming shipments (scanning, VIN verification, damage checks).
- Ensure accurate and timely system updates for all inbound and outbound units.
- Coordinate delivery scheduling with transporters and monitor delivery performance.
- Support vehicle readiness activities (inspection, tagging, accessory checks).
- Maintain real-time inventory accuracy and generate daily/weekly yard reports.
- Work closely with port operators, transporters, and internal teams to resolve operational issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and yard SOPs at all times.
- Identify and implement process improvements for yard efficiency and vehicle turnaround.
Requirements:
- Degree in Supply Chain/Logistics/Operations, International Business or related field.
- 35 years experience in supply chain, yard operations, port logistics, or automotive distribution.
- Familiar with inventory systems, scanning tools, and basic reporting.
- Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced yard/port environment and support shipment-dependent schedules.
- Valid driving license (Class D).
