Job Description

The Senior Executive, Treasury will support the day-to-day treasury operations of the company,

including cash management, banking administration, financing activities, and payment processing.

The role requires close coordination with banks and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient liquidity management, timely execution of transactions, and compliance with internal controls and

banking requirements. This position offers exposure to financing transactions, FX hedging, and financial markets, and is well-suited for individuals who are keen to develop their treasury expertise while building awareness of interest rate and foreign exchange movements in a dynamic business environment. Assist in IPO process in relation to but not limited to Statement of Capitalisation and Indebtedness which also part of MDNA.

Key Responsibilities:

Bank Account Management

  • Maintain and regularly update the Companies bank account master list, including authorised signatories, user access, and security tokens.
  • Coordinate with banks on account-related matters, including account opening, closure, and maintenance.
  • Administer online banking platforms, including user setup, access rights management, and periodic access reviews to ensure proper controls.

Banking & Finance Management

  • Assist in the establishment and ongoing maintenance of FX hedging facilities.
  • Prepare and coordinate financing documentation, including application forms, board resolutions, and supporting documents required by lender banks.
  • Support the execution of financing transactions, including debt drawdowns, repayments, and interest servicing (e.g., term loans, revolving credit facilities, and trade lines such as Letter of Credit and bank guarantee application).
  • Maintain and update utilisation reports for all banking and financing facilities.
  • Monitor compliance with banking covenants and facility terms and highlight any potential breaches.
  • Assist in the execution and monitoring of hedging instruments, such as FX forwards and interest rate swaps (IRS).

Treasury Operations & Payment Processing

  • Perform pre-payment checks to ensure completeness of supporting documents and compliance with approval matrices and internal controls.
  • Prepare and process payments, fund transfers, and bank instructions in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Execute and monitor foreign exchange transactions and hedging activities where required.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to treasury functions.
  • Optimise cash utilisation, including fund placements and intercompany funding arrangements.

Cash Flow Forecasting & Analysis

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly cash flow forecasts and perform variance analysis at the Group level.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CFA, CPA) or treasury-related qualifications (e.g., ACT) are an added advantage.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant working experience in treasury, corporate finance, or banking.
  • Practical experience in cash management, banking operations, and financing activities.
  • Exposure to FX hedging instruments and loan/facility documentation is preferred.
  • Good understanding of treasury operations, liquidity management, and banking facilities.
  • Basic familiarity with FX products (e.g., FX forwards) and interest rate instruments (e.g., IRS), is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of banking documentation and financing processes.
  • Basic accounting knowledge, particularly in relation to cash flow, journal entries, and financial statements, is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable handling financial data and reports.
  • Experience with online banking platforms is an advantage.
  • Keen interest in macroeconomic trends and financial markets, particularly interest rates and foreign exchange movements.
  • Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated on market developments to better support treasury activities (e.g., funding and hedging).
  • Ability to apply basic market insights to day-to-day treasury operations.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of accuracy and internal control awareness.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks within tight timelines.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with banks and internal stakeholders.
  • Responsible, proactive, and able to handle sensitive financial information with discretion.
