About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated personnel to join our Corporate Finance team at Maybank Investment Banking. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing a wide range of corporate finance transactions, including initial public offerings (IPO), mergers and acquisitions (M&A), equity fund raising and advisory services. You will collaborate closely with senior bankers, solicitors, auditors and clients and be involved in the due diligence and the preparation of client presentations, transaction documentation and submission to the relevant authorities/parties.

What You Will Be Doing

• To lead and manage the team and working with other professionals and clients to ensure mandates and assignments are executed efficiently and in a timely manner
• To ensure work undertaken is of the highest quality and does not fall foul of any regulatory or legal requirements and internal rules and compliance requirements

What we are looking for:

• Minimum 58 years of experience in Corporate Finance, with proven ability to lead and manage a corporate finance team
• Strong planning and organisational skills, with a structured and disciplined approach to execution
• Highly analytical, driven, and passionate about the profession
• Strong interest in capital markets activities and development, particularly within Malaysia
• Sound knowledge of capital markets rules, requirements, and regulatory frameworks
