About The Role

We're a full service marketing agency looking for a Social Media Lead to head our social media division. The candidate will be overseeing social strategies across a portfolio of client accounts, leading a team of Social Media Managers and Content Creators to deliver impact for our clients.

This is a role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-client environment, can think strategically and execute operationally, and knows how to bring the best out of a creative team.



Strategy & Leadership

  • Own the social media strategy across multiple client accounts spanning different industries across multiple platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, XHS etc.)
  • Act as the senior strategic voice in client meetings, presentations, and strategy reviews
  • Translate client business objectives into clear, platform-specific social media strategies
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Social Media Managers and Content Creators to achieve client KPIs
  • Provide creative direction and final approval on content across all client accounts while ensuring brand voice, visual consistency, and quality standards are upheld.

Algorithm & Platform Expertise

  • Stay ahead of algorithm changes across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube
  • Educate and upskill the team regularly on platform updates and best practices
  • Drive organic growth strategies informed by data

Reporting & Operations

  • Oversee monthly client performance reports across all accounts
  • Establish and improve internal workflows, content approval processes, and reporting templates
  • Work closely with the Account Management team to ensure smooth client communication and delivery

Requirements

  • 4–6 years of social media experience, with at least 2 years managing a team in an agency setting
  • Proven experience handling multiple client accounts simultaneously. You can juggle multiple projects with minimal to no errors.
  • Deep understanding of platform algorithms, content formats, and growth levers (especially TikTok and Instagram)
  • Strong eye for content creation. You know how to stop a scroll
  • Experience managing and developing a team.
  • Proficient in tools like Meta Business Suite, TikTok Ads Manager, Canva, CapCut, or similar – added bonus for candidates who have a good grasp of AI.
  • Analytical mindset — ability to generate useful insights from reports.
  • Excellent communication skills.
