What a typical day looks like:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize system requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Create system design specifications, data models, and workflow diagrams to outline technical solutions that meet business requirements.
- Analyze and evaluate existing systems to identify areas for improvement, efficiency gains, and cost savings.
- Develop and present proposals for technical solutions, providing recommendations for system enhancements or new implementations.
- Manage projects related to system implementation, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Oversee system testing and validation, ensuring that the implemented solutions meet the specified requirements.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems, processes, and requirements for future reference and training.
- Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they can effectively use the systems and tools implemented.
- Investigate and resolve system issues, working with IT teams to implement fixes and updates.
The ideal candidate will possess the following experience:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- Typically requires 2-5 years of experience in system analysis or a related role.
- Experience with project management and system implementation is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in system analysis and design methodologies.
- Knowledge of database management and data modelling.
- Technical proficiency in relevant software, programming languages, or systems (e.g., SQL, UML, ERP systems, etc.).
- Relevant certifications in business analysis or project management (e.g., CBAP, PMP) are beneficial.
- Proficient in both verbal and written in English and Mandarin as this role requires to deal with colleagues from HQ in China.
