About the Role
The Technical Account Manager (TAM) will act as the key technical liaison between the company and its clients, ensuring successful onboarding, integration, and ongoing support. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise and client management skills to deliver a seamless customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the main technical point of contact for assigned client accounts
- Manage client onboarding, implementation, and integration processes
- Provide technical consultation on APIs, webhooks, SDKs, and payment integrations
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner
- Work closely with internal teams (Engineering, Product, and Sales) to address client requirements
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, understandable communication for clients
- Manage multiple client accounts while prioritising tasks effectively
- Monitor client performance and proactively identify areas for optimisation
Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in a technical role (e.g., Technical Consultant, Software Engineer, Support Engineer, or Sales/Partner Engineer)
- Experience within SaaS, fintech, or payments environments is highly preferred
- Strong technical knowledge of APIs, webhooks, SDKs, payment gateways, and banking/payment flows
- Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple accounts in a fast-paced environment
- Mandarin proficiency (spoken, read, and written) is mandatory
