We are currently seeking a
Technical Engineer to support product development and provide technical expertise for our projects. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge, good communication skills, and a proactive mindset. This role involves close collaboration with the engineering, sales, and QA/QC teams to ensure effective product design, thorough testing, successful project execution, and full compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and develop product design drawings and layout plans.
- Develop detailed designs for new products, including technical drawings and specifications (dimensions, materials, and processes).
- Conduct lighting calculations and lux simulations to support product development and project requirements.
- Perform product testing using laboratory equipment such as goniophotometer, IP testing equipment, and integrating sphere.
- Prepare and maintain ISO 9001 documentation for the R&D department, ensuring compliance with quality management standards.
- Provide technical support to the Project Sales team on product applications, specifications, and project-related matters.
- Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the superior from time to time.
Requirements
- Diploma/ Degree in any discipline or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year related working experience
- Knowledge in Microsoft office
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
