Test Lead

Description

We are seeking a Test Lead to join our team in SEA. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in software testing and quality assurance, leading testing efforts, and mentoring junior team members. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate with various teams to deliver high-quality software products.

Responsibilities

• Lead the testing team to ensure quality assurance processes are followed throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Develop and implement test strategies, plans, and test cases based on business requirements and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and effective testing of products before release.
• Identify, document, and track defects, and ensure they are resolved in a timely manner.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior testers and new team members.
• Analyze test results and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.

Skills and Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Proficient in automated testing tools such as Selenium, QTP, or similar.
• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python for test automation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members and stakeholders.
