Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled z/OS Programmer to develop, maintain, and support mainframe applications running on IBM z/OS systems. The role involves working with legacy systems, ensuring high availability, performance, and integration with modern platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and enhance applications on z/OS mainframe environments

Write and support programs using COBOL, JCL, REXX, and Assembler

Perform batch job scheduling, debugging, and performance tuning

Work with DB2, VSAM, and IMS databases

Support system integration and data exchange with distributed systems (APIs, middleware)

Troubleshoot production issues and ensure system stability

Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system enhancements and deployments

Ensure compliance with security and operational standards

Required Skills:

Strong experience in IBM z/OS environment

Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, and mainframe utilities

Knowledge of DB2, CICS, IMS

Experience with debugging, job scheduling tools (e.g., CA7, Control-M)

Understanding of system performance tuning and optimization
