Responsibilities

  • Manage & lead the accounting & finance team to ensure the efficiencies of day-to-day operation of overall accounting & financial activities, i.e. General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Account Receivable, Fixed Assets and Inventory Function.
  • Responsible for the overall accounting function that includes preparation of financial statements, budgeting, cash flow and management accounts.
  • Ensure budgetary controls, forecast & projections and monthly management accounts are prepared and reviewed on timely basic.
  • Candidate is expected to be able to interpret the financial statements.
  • Involve in accounting system enhancement, process improvement and ensure good internal controls are in placed while high productivities are achieved.
  • Ensure all operational related reporting, monthly financial and management accounts are prepared in a timely manner and in compliance with statutory requirements and relevant Financial Reporting Standards (FRS).
  • Attend to any ad-hoc tasks/ analysis requested by the management from time to time.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • At least 1 year working experience in accounting and/or audit preferable
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and standards.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and accounting software is an added advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail, responsibility, and willingness to learn.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin will be an added advantage.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
