About the Job

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Manager to support strategic transformation initiatives within the Finance Division. This role will focus on two key projects: ERP Implementation (Oracle Cloud Fusion) and Shared Services Setup. The ideal candidate will have strong project management and change management capabilities, with experience in financial systems, process optimization, and stakeholder engagement.

Project Management:

  • Support end-to-end project lifecycle for ERP implementation and shared services setup, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Track and report project progress, risks, and issues to senior management.
  • Facilitate project governance, including steering committee updates and documentation.

Change Management:

  • Design and implement change management strategies to support adoption of ERP and shared services.
  • Conduct change impact assessments and readiness evaluations across business units.
  • Develop mitigation plans to address resistance and ensure smooth transition.
  • Lead stakeholder engagement initiatives to build awareness and commitment.
  • Create and execute communication plans tailored to different stakeholder groups.

Trainings & Enablement:

  • Collaborate with functional leads to design and deliver training programs for end-users.
  • Ensure effective knowledge transfer and support mechanisms are in place post-implementation.

Quality Assurance & Compliance:

  • Monitor process and system changes for alignment with business and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure documentation and controls are in place to support audit and compliance needs.

Reporting & Documentation:

  • Prepare regular reports on project status, change adoption, and stakeholder feedback.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for project decisions, risks, and lessons learned.

  • Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
  • Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
  • Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.

We are looking for people with

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Management, Finance or a related field. Relevant experience in shared services is a plus.
  • 35 years of experience in project management or change management, preferably in finance or insurance.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with effectiveness in stakeholder management.
  • Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to analyze and manage conflicts.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment, with a high level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and completeness in finance operations deliverables and documentation.
  • Experience with ERP systems (Oracle Cloud Fusion preferred) and shared services setup is a strong advantage.
  • High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork.
  • Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes.
