The role supports the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities while partnering with the business on strategic initiatives. It ensures the effective planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of HR policies, programs, and practices.
Responsibilities
- Manage HRIS data accuracy across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, promotions, transfers, and other employee movements in all systems.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to ensure seamless onboarding and timely, compliant employee documentation.
- Maintain employment files in accordance with local regulations and ensure compliance during internal and external audits (ISO and PCI DSS).
- Manage monthly payroll, statutory submissions, and administer employee benefits including insurance, provident fund, and social security contributions.
- Track absenteeism, support attendance improvement initiatives, and manage probationary reviews, performance management processes, and performance improvement plans.
- Partner the business by educating managers on managing employee relations and coaching managers on performance management, HR policies, and procedures.
- Handle complex disciplinary matters through objective investigations while ensuring compliance with employment laws and minimizing legal risk.
- Stay current on HR best practices, legal developments, industry trends, and HR technologies to drive continuous improvement.
- Support employer branding initiatives, including participation in HR awards, social activities, and engagement programs.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in HR and administrative functions
- Prior experience in a call center or highvolume operational environment is preferred
- Strong working knowledge of HR best practices and employment law principles
- Proven experience managing inhouse payroll systems and statutory submissions
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Highly detailoriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Demonstrates a high level of professionalism, integrity, and strong work ethic
- Exercises sound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information
