Job Description

The ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and partner with the organization on strategic initiatives. They will maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices.

Responsibilities

  • Take full responsibility for the daily operations and management of Human Resources for the Malaysia branch, reporting to both headquarters and local management.
  • Lead the end-to-end recruitment process by developing hiring plans based on business needs, expanding local recruitment channels, and efficiently filling mid- to senior-level and technical positions.
  • Design, implement, and continuously optimize the performance management system, including goal setting, progress tracking, performance evaluation, and application of results.
  • Manage employee relations by handling employee inquiries, disputes, and exit interviews, and fostering a positive and engaging work environment.
  • Ensure all HR policies and practices fully comply with Malaysian labor laws, tax regulations, visa requirements, and social security legislation.
  • Act as the key communication bridge between headquarters and local teams, effectively managing cross-cultural coordination and promoting alignment of management practices and corporate culture.
  • Plan and organize employee training and development programs to enhance professional skills and overall team capability.
  • Manage compensation and benefits systems, conduct local market salary benchmarking, and ensure competitiveness and regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee HR data analysis and regularly provide management reports to support business decision-making from a human capital perspective.
  • Drive localization and digital transformation of HR processes and policies to improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Chinese candidates preferred; must hold Malaysian citizenship or valid long-term work authorization. Fluent in Chinese, English, and Bahasa Malaysia, with strong written and verbal cross-cultural communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of Malaysian employment laws, labor regulations, visa policies, taxation, and HR operational practices.
  • Minimum 5 years of comprehensive HR management experience, with proven success in recruitment and performance management.
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience in robotics, automation, high-end manufacturing, or technology industries will be an advantage.
