The Role

We are looking for a sharp, technically-grounded IT Project Manager to lead high-impact software development projects. This isn't just about managing timelines, it's about understanding the architecture, guiding engineering teams, and ensuring seamless system integrations within a complex enterprise environment.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Project Leadership: Manage the end-to-end delivery of medium to complex software development projects, ensuring they are on time, within scope, and high quality.
• Agile Governance: Act as the Scrum Master/Lead, running daily stand-ups, managing backlogs, and facilitating sprint planning and reviews.
• Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for IT, Operations, and key business users to gather requirements and translate them into actionable technical plans.
• Technical Oversight: Work closely with dev teams to navigate roadblocks in software architecture and system integration.
• Risk & Quality: Proactively identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to keep delivery on track.

What We're Looking For

• The Foundation: A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related technical field is essential.
• The Track Record:5–7 years of solid experience in IT Project Management, specifically managing Software Development (this is not an infrastructure-focused role).
• Industry Savvy: Ideally, you have at least 1–2 years of experience within the Insurance or Takaful sector, understanding the specific regulatory and operational nuances.
• Agile Expertise: Deep familiarity with Scrum/Agile methodologies and experience handling complex system integration projects.
• The Human Element: Excellent communication and presentation skills, you should sound energetic, direct, and capable of influencing both technical and non-technical audiences.

Mandatory Requirements

• Citizenship: Only Malaysians will be considered for this role.
• Availability: Priority will be given to candidates who can start on short notice or by early May.
• Skill Focus: Proven experience in Software Project Management (not purely Infra/Hardware).
