Job Description

  • To develop and enhance budget template to to ensure the accuracy and consistency of project cost estimates
  • To assist in liaising with vendor to obtain quotations for tender and project execution purposes
  • To evaluate and analyze contractor quotations and support vendor negotiation and awarding strategies
  • To ensure vendor's contractual compliance with project terms and conditions
  • To manage vendor-related claims, variations, and change orders in accordance with contractual obligations
  • To assist in the preparation of vendor awarding documentation, ensuring completeness and accuracy
  • Responsible to ensure proper filing ad document control for various documents such as correspondence, sub-contractors progress claim and payment certificate, Main contractor's claim, etc
  • To apply creative and critical thinking to streamline internal processes and tools.
  • To identify workflow inefficiencies and propose automation or digital solutions to support continuous improvement and enhance departmental productivity
  • Any other task which may be assigned from time to time by the superior and management

Requirements

  • Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, M&E Engineering or a related field
  • Previous experience or internships in a similar role is advantageous but not required
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
