Test Lead (Manual + Automation) – Banking

Location: Kuala Lumpur

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Test Lead with strong expertise in both manual and automation testing to lead end-to-end QA activities for banking applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end testing (Manual + Automation) across projects
• Define test strategy, test plans, and test approach
• Manage and mentor a team of QA/Test Engineers
• Review test cases, automation scripts, and test results
• Ensure effective defect tracking and resolution
• Collaborate with business, developers, and stakeholders
• Drive test automation initiatives and improvements
• Support SIT, UAT, and release activities

Requirements

• Experience as a Test Lead / QA Lead
• Strong experience in Manual Testing + Automation Testing
• Experience in banking or financial services domain
• Hands-on with automation tools (Selenium / Cypress / etc.)
• Good understanding of API testing (Postman, Rest Assured)
• Familiar with Agile / Scrum methodologies
• Experience with JIRA / Test management tools

Good to Have

• Experience in digital banking / payments systems
• Knowledge of CI/CD integration for testing
• Exposure to performance or security testing
