Location: Kuala Lumpur

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 technical support for enterprise applications hosted on Web/Java servers.
• Perform incident analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution within defined SLAs.
• Monitor application performance and proactively identify potential issues.
• Support and maintain applications running on JBoss or WebLogic.
• Work closely with development, infrastructure, and database teams on escalations.
• Execute routine operational tasks such as deployments, restarts, logs validation, and health checks.
• Write and maintain SQL queries for troubleshooting and analysis.
• Use Shell scripting for automation, monitoring, and operational tasks.
• Support applications across Unix/Linux environments.
• Work in a shift-based schedule, including weekends or on-call rotations when required.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles.

Requirements

Years of Experience: L2 (3-5 years)

Platform / Product: Jboss or Weblogic

Server / Database: Oracle/MSSQL/MYSQL

Language: SQL & Shell Scripting

OS: Unix/Linux

Other Critical Requirements/Full JD: Mandatory:

- Experienced working in L2 support

- Willing to work on shifts

- Experience in supporting applications hosted on Webservers and Java servers

Experience supporting applications hosted on webservers and Java application servers

Hands-on troubleshooting of performance, connectivity, configuration, and deployment issues

Willingness to work in shift rotations if required.

Good communication and problem‑solving skills

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple incidents simultaneously
