Autoflo Technology specialises in dosing and flow control technologies for water and chemical handling. We are the official distributor of 4 major European chemical equipment brands in Malaysia for the past 25 years, supplying to a wide segment of industries including chemical, glove, paper, food, automotive, printing, paint production, among others.
Our products are water-powered dosing pump, metering pumps, air operated double diaphragm (AODD) pumps, centrifugal pumps, vertical pumps, etc. as well as control and instrumentations.
For this Sales Engineer role we will be focussing on two strategic products targeting the manufacturing sector. You will be trained on a systematic sales methodology and framework that reduce resistance and increase trust.
Responsibilities
- Actively look for new customers through outbound prospecting
- Present our Pre-Sales Value Offering and introduce our products as a solution to common application problems during customer meetings
- Visiting customer sites to understand operations, identify pain points, and recommend appropriate equipment solutions.
- Prepare quotations and follow up until the enquiry is closed
- Build trust with customers through quick responsiveness, technical knowledge and integrity.
- Work with internal technical and support teams to ensure proper delivery, troubleshooting, and post-sales care.
- Manage your own pipeline, schedule, and targets with independence and discipline.
- Support with trade shows and other marketing initiatives
Looking For
- Technical background in mechanical or chemical engineering either by education or experience a must
- Minimum 1 year technical sales experience in industrial equipment distribution (pumps, valves, controllers, etc.), with familiarity with B2B sales cycles a must
- Not more than 3 years work experience
- Want to build a career in technical sales
- Clear communicator, persistent and discipline
- Willingness to travel
- Able to speak Bahasa Malaysia and English fluently; Chinese and Tamil would be bonus
